Washington DC has always been a city of excitement and expectation. Here you can find the seat of America’s government with the White House, the capital and other federal government structures that most people merely read about. Washington DC is more than a few building for it tends to represent the American way of life and every statue or building in its area has a story to tell.

Although the city portrays a serious background with its buildings are government sanctuaries there is actually another side to Washington DC. That side is shown as a less serious image of this city and translates to a fun filled and memorable travel destination.

Aside from taking your chances for touring the White House there are actually many additional opportunities for viewing famous landmarks as well as a variety of activities that are not politically motivated. You can see theater performances especially if you happen to be in the neighborhood on a weekend.
